Greetings from historic Lambeau Field

First, the news.

A.J. Feeley is on the inactive list at the third quarterback, meaning Kevin Kolb is the backup. Also inactive are cornerback Nick Graham, linebacker Pago Togafau, offensive linemen Max Jean-Gilles, Pat McCoy and Scott Young, and defensive linemen LaJuan Ramsey and Victor Abiamiri.

So Winston Justice is active for the first time ever... L.J. Smith is apparently playing, though he was downgraded to questionable yesterday. Sopmeone said they saw Brent Celek working with the first team in warmups... All the rest of those injured guys are acive, including Shawn Andrews.

I took a walk around this historic place about an hour ago, went to the Packers Hall of Fame and everything, and took in the sights and smells of the parking lot. I got to see Green Bay's three Super Bowl trophies, Vince Lombardi's desk, Reggie White's uniform and all that. it was great, of course, but the real spectacle is what's going in in front of us right now, the entire staium exulting together, in a hope that may well be ill-placed.

There's just a minute or two until kickoff. Brett Favre just rans out of the tunnel, and it's time to start this season.
