Waiting on a defensive tackle

There's another black limo out in front of the NovaCare Complex right now, as the Eagles are currently entertaining free agent DT Ian Scott, late of the Chicago Bears. The media was summored here to talk to him at 2 p.m., and now they have pushed the conference back to 3 p.m. I'm not sure what that means. Maybe they're trying to get this thing done before he leaves.
Scott would be the second defensive tackle signed as a free agent this offseason. The Birds have already traded off Darwin Walker, and should they land Scott, either LaJuan Ramsey or "Speaker" Sam Rayburn would likely be jettisoned.

By the way, the also let go linebacker Greg Richmond, running back Antoine Bagwell and quarterback Jeff Mroz this morning. None of those guys made an impact on the field last season.
